Welcome

The consequences of alcohol misuse cannot be overstated as they can have a devastating impact on not only the individual and the family members concerned, but also on the wider community.

The Chief Minister’s Drug and Alcohol Strategy, working in conjunction with its numerous partner agencies in the Isle of Man, is committed to raising the awareness and understanding of drink-related issues.

This website, which has been developed with the support of our colleagues in the North West of England, forms an important part of the education and communication programme.

The information contained here is aimed at reinforcing our key message and encouraging people to drink in a safe and responsible manner.

Our aim is to help people make a more informed choice about how much alcohol they are drinking and to prevent alcohol-related problems from occurring.

Government departments and agencies working under the Chief Minister’s Drug and Alcohol Strategy work with people of all ages in vital areas such as education, treatment and support and community safety.
